The Birthday!

Wow I feel really selfish writing everything about me. Well, I turned the 2-1 this weekend! WOOHOO! It was a great weekend. It was great to be able to spend it with mom and dad. Saturday, we all slept in. When we got up, we got ready and went up state to catch a matinee and an early dinner.
We went to the movies and shortly after went to dinner at Outback. It was pretty delicious. I was a little nervous, hoping mom and dad would not have them come and sing to me. So towards the end of dinner the waitress comes by and asks if we are interested in any dessert. Well, Mom said what I was hoping not to hear. She told the waitress it was my birthday. She said she would bring out a complementry scoop of ice cream with fudge and oreos. To my wonerful suprise a lady brought it out and that was it! Halleluja! It was great though. Most delicious.
After dinner we drove back home and just crashed.
Sunday we had the special dinner and birthday cake. I was in taking a nap and when I woke up I smelled the cake baking. Dad was kind enough to make his enchiladas for dinner. It was a great night!
After dinner we decided to go on a walk up the street. Well, that walk lasted about 2 hours. We stopped by people's houses to chat. It was great, we stopped by the Faussett', Bud, and his sisters. We talked for about 45 minutes to an hour and came out with a jar of homemade honey and a bar of homemade honey soap. Then we stopped by our neighbors house and talked for another 30 minutes.
Needless to say we got home around 9 and did the birthday cake.
It was quite the weekend! Thank you Mom and Dad for a wonderful weekend! Your presence made it perfect!

Walk Around the Falls!

So when we were up in Idaho, we had to stay in Idaho Falls because all of the hotels were taken in Rexburg. Mom got us a room in a hotel right across the street from the falls and Idaho Falls Temple. It had beautiful scenery and a walk way all around the falls. We decided on Saturday before we left to walk the whole thing and meanwhile take a detour to the Idaho Falls Temple Visitors Center. The walk was wonderful, it was so nice out, of course it was around 10:30 in the morning.
We walked half way around and went into the Visitors center. It was so fun. The sister missionaries walked right up to us and took us to the Christus statue to do a little audio show that usually goes with the statue. Afterwards there different little things to go look at and watch in different rooms so we did that and then we watched a 15 minute movie and I can't remember what it was called, but it was awesome!
We took some pictures at the temple and decided to walk the rest of the way back to the car. It was a great day. We met up with Keitra, Isaac, and Kathy (Keitra's mom, I hope I spelled her name right!) and went to lunch with them.
We then said our goodbyes and me and mom made the journey back home since she had to teach Young Womens the next day! It was quite the trip! It would have been better if Dad were able to make it. It has been hard for Dad and us not to be able to make a lot of the events this summer! We love you DAD and appreciate your hardwork! Thanks for the great example!

BYU-Idaho Graduation!

This last weekend we were able to go up to Idaho and attend graduation for Isaac and Keitra. It was an awesome experiance and we are so very proud of our graduates! We were able to hear from President Clark, Brother Christensen, and Sister Julie Beck. They gave great counsel and it is something I think everyone will remember. It was great to spend time with Keitra and Isaac and Keitra's Mom. It was a fun weekend and wished that everyone could have been there.

Our Ultimate 3-D Experiance!

Since Mom did not have to work on Thursday, we decided to go up state early since we would be leaving early Friday morning anyway to go to Rexburg for Isaac and Keitra's graduation. A week or so ago we thought how cool it would be to go to a 3-D movie since we both have never gone. So we decided to go up early and go. We met up with Aunt Kim, Aunt Nona, Chloe, and Devin. We ate a quick lunch and then all of us except Chloe and Devin went to Journey to the Center of The Earth 3-D! It was so much fun. We go to experiance the ultimate 3-D movie. After the show we were able to go and stay at Aunt Jan's and Uncle Bill's new house. It was a beautiful house located in a very nice neighborhood with a great view of the mountains!
We forgot to take a picture with the glasses on so we did it at home instead!
